On July 12, Ambassador He Xiangdong met with the exchange group of the Youth Development Commission of HKSAR Government led by Mr. Leung Yuk-wai, member of the Legislative Council of HKSAR and Vice-Chairman of the Youth Development Commission.

Ambassador He held a discussion with the exchange group and exchanged views on the development of renewable energy in Ireland, China-Ireland new energy industry cooperation, and China-Ireland economic and trade relations. Ambassador He encouraged the young students to take this visit as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship and cooperation between Ireland and China, including HKSAR, and to contribute to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Ireland.

The members of the exchange group shared their gains from the visit to Ireland, and had warm and friendly exchanges with Ambassador He and Madame Xia and young diplomats of the embassy on the integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the prospects of Hong Kong youth in the Mainland.
