On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Taoiseach of Ireland Micheál Martin sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In the congratulatory message, Taoiseach Micheál Martin said that in the past 100 years, the CPC has transformed China and has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. The Irish side looks forward to further developing mutually beneficial relations, and striving for the common goal of ensuring global peace and development.
