At about 14:00 on Nov.20, 2001, 35 foreign Falun
Gong cult practitioners unfurled banners bearing Falun Gong
slogans in Tiananmen Square and then held a sit-in,
while practicing Falun Gong and shouting Falun Gong phrases.
The Beijing's public security agents removed them from the
site, as their behavior violated Chinese laws governing
parades, demonstrations and cults. All the 35 foreign
nationals were given warnings and ordered to leave within a
set time. The incident is now under further investigation.
