On July 9, Ambassador Zhao Xiyuan met with Irish Minister for Justice, Home Affairs, and Immigration Jim O'Callaghan at the Department of Justice. 

They exchanged views on China-Ireland relations, bilateral justice dialogue and measures to facilitate visa policies. Ambassador Zhao also briefed Minister O'Callaghan on the establishment of the International Organization for Mediation(IOMed).
